salt, shore, and simple pleasures
salt & shore is johari’s guest-only restaurant, framed by the horizon and defined by season and sea. fruit comes in from nearby farms, evenings unfold around fish caught hours before, and every menu moves with the season. mornings move slowly; dinners bring everyone together, with options for children available on request. salt & shore is the island distilled to its simplest form: fruit, fish, fire.

breakfasts by the shore
plates of fresh fruit, breads still warm, fresh-pressed juices, zanzibar coffee, and eggs cooked to order. breakfasts here are best taken barefoot, with the sea in view and the horizon bright against a new day.

midday plates, easy and fresh
salads bright with local fruit, grilled fish or chicken, rice bowls, juices cold from the press. lunches here are light, simple, and nourishing: best taken poolside, shaded from the midday sun.

fresh catch
by night
fish pulled from the sea at dawn, spiced and grilled by evening. vegetables from nearby farms, plates that follow the season. menus shift daily, shared simply by qr code. dinners linger long, best enjoyed as the sky folds into the horizon.
salt & shore brings the best of kizimkazi on the table: seasonal, simple, and always in rhythm with the sea.
